Unfortunately, the beloved land mark of Couva Anglican, the Palmiste Tree, had to be cut down on Thursday 14th November, 2024.  Reason being, it was rotting at the base and could fall at any time. This proved to be a dangerous hazard to everyone on the school compound and surroundings.  The work was conducted by the ODPM Department and Public Health Department of the Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation.  I must say special thanks to the team, who ensured that no damage was done to any surrounding infrastructure.
