Couva Anglican Primary School has had a long history of Scouting spanning many decades, as there is evidence in a photo image depicting scouts carrying on a meeting on the school's compound in 1954.
Aims
The aim of our scout group follows that of the National Association, which is to develop good Citizenship among the youth of Trinidad and Tobago by:
a) Forming their character in an out-of-school education;
b) Training them in habits of observation, obedience, self-reliance, loyalty, patriotism, courage and thoughtfulness for others;
c) Teaching them skills useful to themselves and service useful to the public;
d) Promoting their physical, intellectual, spiritual and moral development.
