The Brownie Guides program has been in existence since 1992, started by Guider, Ms. Lydia Cleghorn. Joining her was Guider, Mrs. Jennifer Bailey, who notably carried on the group until her retirement. Currently the group is being led by Guider, Ms. Asha Alexis, Mrs. Tricia King and Ms. Dionne Branker.
The aims and objectives of the Association are but not limited to the following:
To provide girls with the opportunity for self-training in the development of character and service to others based on spiritual and moral values according to the principles laid down by the Founder, the First Lord Baden-Powell;
To foster a love of country and promote a full sense of citizenship by developing an interest in homecraft, health, social service, love of nature and the traditional arts and customs;
To encourage international goodwill and understanding by establishing friendly contacts with girls of other nations.
